FAQ
Here’s a few answers to help you plan and get ready for camp weekend.
-
Why let us know you're coming now?
While most of you know Whitney is a planner, this takes it to a whole other level. Letting us know your thoughts now will help us think through transportation, accommodations, and all other logistics. please head to the rsvp page to let us know!
It's okay if you change your mind later, we will have a formal rsvp closer to the date.
-
where should i stay?
Cedar Lakes is a large property and will be able to house a number of guests, but unfortunately not everyone. To accommodate all, we’ll also have a hotel room block available in the area.
For those staying at Cedar Lakes there are various types of accommodations (rooms, cottages, cabins). As we get closer to the date, we’ll provide more information and reach out individually.
-
what should i expect?
We’d like to welcome you to our wedding weekend festivities on Saturday. We have the property to ourselves starting on Saturday afternoon through brunch on Monday. Plan to enjoy what the property and surrounding area has to offer through the weekend.
-
Will there be transportation?
All planned events throughout the weekend will take place at Cedar Lakes (including both the ceremony and reception). We are still working out transportation for those staying off site but please check back for more information.
-
What should I wear?
Think play all day and party all night. Cedar Lakes is an outdoor summer camp with tons of activities including swimming, hiking, tennis, and plenty of lawn games so come prepared to take full advantage. The wedding itself will be formal attire (long dresses for women and suits for men).
-
can i bring my kids?
While we love all of your little ones, we’ve decided to make this an adults only weekend.
